Philosophy
Learning is created by play, however
the child must feel secure in their environment. We encourage
the child’s first interactions with the center to
be positive, trusting and comforting. This means having
the child bring in their favorite blanket, stuffed animal,
pacifiers etc. The child will determine when they no longer
need or want these items.
Through music, imagination, play, gross
and fine motor skills, discussion, interactions and activities,
the child will develop a loving and caring relationship
with others and maximize their talents with areas of interest
for individual strengths.
The staff will create an atmosphere of
choice, follow the lead of your child and will guide them
in safe and fun play. Through daily activities, learning
will come naturally with a strong foundation for individualism.
An important component of being
successful with your child is to have open communication
between your family and ours. We encourage any or all suggestions
that are important to you, because they are important to
us too!
